Bone Anchored Hearing Aids
may be an Option for Many People

It is the same indications for children as well as adults, ie conductive or mixed hearing loss or single-sided deafness (SSD). Many more children and young people would probably be able to hear with bone anchored hearing aids if parents received information about this possibility to hear.

 

Bone Anchored Hearing Aids can be an Opportunity for Children with:

•  Treacher Collins Syndrome

•  Goldenhaar Syndrome

•  Down Syndrom

•  absence of ear canals, and with malformation in the middle ear/outer ear

•  hearing loss due to chronic otitis
