The Procedure to get to Hear
with a Bone Anchored Hearing Aid

You and your Child will need:

•  Referral by your local doctor or an ENT doctor.

•  Assessment of an audiologist.

•  Fitting/testing with a softband and Baha initially.

•  Discussion and planning with a Baha surgeon.

•  Planning of the date of surgery (or talk about when surgery can be done if the child is under the age of three).

•  Operation.

•  Fitting of Baha after surgery. It normally takes place three months after surgery.
